Srinagar, Oct 28 (KNO): Dar-ul-Khair Mirwaiz Manzil Srinagar Tuesday expressed deep sorrow and sympathy over the devastating fire incident that recently occurred in the densely populated area of Qarfali Mohalla, Srinagar, which reduced 13 residential houses and valuable assets to ashes, causing extensive loss of property.
On behalf of its patron, Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, the organization conveyed heartfelt solidarity with the affected families and stressed the urgent need for their rehabilitation.
As per a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a delegation of Dar-ul-Khair, led by Mufti Ghulam Rasool Samoon, handed over essential relief material to the local Mohalla Committee for 17 affected families.
With the onset of winter, Dar-ul-Khair has urged the public to exercise caution while using electrical appliances and traditional heating devices like kangris to prevent fire accidents.
Reiterating its long-standing humanitarian mission, Dar-ul-Khair emphasized that since its inception, the organization has consistently provided relief and rehabilitation assistance to disaster-affected families across Kashmir, regardless of faith or background.
